Crowd surfing in the Spirit. Who will have it on their television program first?

I don't know about that one, but as a kid I liked the 'walking the benches' guys.. I liked it so well I used to go out to the church and practice, just in case the Lord were to direct me to 'walk the backs of the benches.

Four of the churches dad pastored had a bench walker. Shocked

Sadly I was never directed to walk 'em. But I was ready! Cool

On second thought we cannot ressurrect that, that would be tough on chair backs. Embarassed

My brother and I (and some other folks from our church) went to a bananatown service in Pennsylvania once where I wouldn't have been surprised to see this. A few folks from our church were really up on this certain ministry so we figured we'd go check them out.

There was a guy in the aisle near our seats swinging a lightsaber for most of the service.

That wasn't even the weirdest thing there.

My guess is that crowd surfing at church has been done already somewhere.

I’m pretty sure they’ve done “mosh pits” in the past at Winterfest. I know I saw kids at a western state Winterfest slamdancing in front of the stage back in the 1990s. [Insert Acts Pun Here]

Preachers do a new style of clothesline preaching - the folks they are praying for get clotheslined instead of pushed down- the WWE kind of clothesline.

The fad ends when RR gets a folding chair and shows his displeasure with that style of ministry.

As a finisher - he climbs to the rafters and spits fire - a mighty chorus of "Keep on the Firing line" ensues.

Okay I had to look That stuff up, QW. That is wild ! had no idea of what you were talking about, Slamdancing and the moshpit.

Now I look at the early services and think they were calm. Embarassed Embarassed

As a church musician I learned to hate “Keep on the firing line”. Once it started I knew we were never going home.

Post Don’t know about crowd surfing, but FLRon
I once saw Rod Parsely (on TV) zip line into the sanctuary from the back all the way to the pulpit. His take on a “Grand Entrance” perhaps?
