anyone getting mail dox'ing your neighbors who have/haven't voted?

I read (ok, "glanced over") an article this morning about some app that supposedly tells your friends and neighbors if you voted and if you registered democrat or republican. I dismissed it as NYC lunacy. Then my brother calls me this morning and said he'd been getting texts about who on his block had already voted and pressured him to vote. Then he got emails. Then yesterday, he got physical mail with neigbors names and addresses and whether they had voted or not!

Am I dreaming? I watch too many posts-apocalyptic, distopian movies I know. But this can't be real.

I haven't received any mail like that, wait... I don't get mail but every two weeks, I'll know Wednesday! Wednesday is mail call! Smile

I read about that too. That's so disturbing. I wonder if it's effective in shaming uninvolved/uninformed voters.

If I ever got something like that -- from a Democrat or Republican -- I'd vote for the candidate's opponent out of spite.
