Post Taylor Swift Finally Breaks Theological Silence, Comes Out In Support Of Amillennialism (L) Dave Dorsey
Quote:
NEW YORK, NY—Taylor Swift finally broke her long-standing unspoken rule of theological silence by coming out in support of amillennialism on her Instagram page Sunday.

Fans have long clamored for Swift to take a stand on eschatology, and they finally got their wish as the singer posted a lengthy defense of amillennial beliefs.

"I always have and always will support the eschatological system which best preserves the overarching theme of God's covenants throughout the Bible," she wrote, further decrying the "systemic church bias toward premillennialism" as "terrifying, sickening, and prevalent."

Dispensational scholars quickly condemned Swift for her position, calling her "just another elite, out-of-touch Hollywood liberal who denies the clear meaning of Scripture."

Wow, now the suspense was killing me! Laughing

I don't follow entertainers in politics and theology. Thanks for giving me one more reason why!

Since I do not know the singer nor the group she is espousing this is above my paygrade.
But it always amazes me the weight the news (apparently) puts to entertainers voices.

There are people I do take note of their opinions. some I am glad to agree with others disappoint me.

My latest disappointment is Colon Powell. I actually understood his leaning to Obama, but his latest voice I was disappointed in.

Not to hijack the post, I still do not know the Swift singer. I have heard the name of course but did not know if she was an actor or singer.

Cojak,

Your post, which for the most part matches my views (though I do know who she is and a couple of her songs), confirms that you and I are just old white guys. We are out of touch with who is important and stand in the way of the celebrity driven utopia that will surely come about by their enlightened leadership.

I'm glad she broke her silence. I've been waiting to see which eschatological position I should espouse. Now, if she could just tell me who I need to vote for in the November elections Razz Acts Enthusiast

If it is in the Babylonbee, there is a good chance the entire article is an entire fabrication, just a joke about the silly importance put on celebrities opinions in society, and trying to be funny that someone like Taylor Swift would give a public opinion on such a thing.

She did come out in favor of gay something or other a few years back which was disappointing.
