Post Trump - most honest President in History (L) Nature Boy Florida
Sorry George Washington.

The current President is the most honest in history.

I tend to agree based on the reasons listed in this article.

An excerpt:

Quote:
Don't get me wrong, Trump lies all the time. He said that he "enacted the biggest tax cuts and reforms in American history" (actually they are the eighth largest) and that "our economy is the strongest it's ever been in the history of our country" (which may one day be true, but not yet). In part, it's a New York thing -- everything is the biggest and the best.

But when it comes to the real barometer of presidential truthfulness -- keeping his promises -- Trump is a paragon of honesty. For better or worse, since taking office Trump has done exactly what he promised he would do.

Apparently it's a low threshold.

Since they all lie all the time, that is very possible. Laughing

Marc Thiessen is probably the smartest commentator who writes dumb as dirt articles all the time.

As far as the premise of the article goes, I mostly agree -- Trump has done a decent job keeping his promises to conservatives, which isn't something I thought he would do. This could have been a good article if the author had framed that as something other than making Trump the most honest president ever.

Since we like to rewrite history...
let the record read:

Who chopped down the cherry tree?
Washington: I cannot tell a lie (well, not very often) I did it with my little hatchet"

Somewhat Honest Abe
