I wanted to be there so much. But yesterday I had to admit my sister to the hospital. I am her care giver and must stay around. Caleb, Roger and the entire family is/was in our prayers. I am so glad Acts was represented if only with a flower. Many times I had to smile at Bonnie's responses on Acts. I am sure going to miss her.

It is still hard to 'accept'. I hope it was a wonderful Memorial service, the family deserves it, right now Bonnie doesn't care, at this time, no one here could even get her attention. We cannot even imagine what she is seeing. At times I try to imagine what she is seeing, but then I will take John's word for it. "IT CANNOT BE TOLD".

GOD, please bless and comfort the family.

There were several monetary gifts sent from various ACTS members, so we will have a small remembrance that way, also. Even if it doesn't amount to a lot, hopefully they will know her presence in our community is missed and she is thought of here with great fondness.

Thanks to all who responded. Please continue to pray for Bonnie's family.

Post Bro Bob
I want to thank Carolyn for notifying me about Bonnie's passing. I can't add anything to what Tom has said, his observations say it far better than I can.

I will just say that I miss the days when I could read Bonnie's thoughts on issues that interested and concerned me. Her eyes were her eyes, and saw things mine didn't.

Christ himself lived inside her, and was never far from coming out of her.

I do look forward to meeting her, and as Job said about his redeemer, seeing her for myself.

Post From Bonnie's family Cojak
Tonight I received this from Bonnie's sister, I cried again. It was such a short time (relatively speaking) but I learned to love and respect her.
This is the Message:

I tried to get an account, but couldn’t seem to get it to work for me. Could you post in the announcement on the ACTS forum about Bonnie being with the Lord the following thank you.

Thank you so much for your support during this time. The flowers that were sent to the memorial service from her friends on the ACTS forum were lovely. Many thanks for your prayers and words of encouragement. I enjoyed Tom’s remarks about Bonnie. I especially appreciated the lines She listened genuinely and heard deeply. There was no elephant in the room that could hide from her scrutiny…nor left unaddressed. I smiled and said, yes, that describes my sister. On behalf of all of Bonnie’s family, let me thank you all again for everything.

Thanks!

Bonita

Thanks for sharing, Cojak. That is awesome.

We've all said a lot of nice things about Bonnie, but I think she was also queen of the zingers. She even got OTCP a few times. Laughing Laughing She brought a nice balance to the board.

Good to see Bro Bob stick his head in, too. I hope he comes back to see us before long.

Post Just logged in after several months and saw this... Randy Johnson
Bonnie was/is an encouragement and a blessing.

So sorry to hear about her change of residence, but so happy it is with Jesus.

She will be missed.

I got a thank you card from her husband Roger and Caleb a couple of weeks ago. I am really glad we were able to acknowledge how much she meant to us.

Someone commented on FB that Roger had spoken at her service. I am sure that was very special but probably difficult, as well.

Thanks to everyone who contributed in any way. I am sure it was very much appreciated by the family.

We know she is in a better place now. While I am sad that Bonnie passed, I rejoice in knowing she is not suffering, and she is with Jesus!
