I guess this will test whether or not OTCP has actually stepped away from his computer...
I have just signed up for a class through Perry Stone's ISOW (International School of the Word.) The class I've just signed up for is about Biblical worship.
Has anyone else done any classes through ISOW? Classes are go at your own pace and available to purchase one at a time, which is perfect for me. I'm really excited about this!

Congrats. It is good for us to be old enough that we study a subject because we want to...and not to get a degree. Enjoy.

| It doesn't appear that they offer a non-accredited "degree" and even states that a degree must come from the proper channels (i.e. not through ISOW, if I understand it correctly). I don't think OTCP would have an issue with it. I certainly think it will profit you and you can be proud of a certificate of completion for your studies. Enjoy and let us know how it goes! |

OTCP had an issue with Perry Stone personally from a sermon he heard Perry preach eons ago that he felt obligated to bring up every time Perry was mentioned. That is what I was referring to.
Since ISOW is very new (only months old in its existence), even if they wanted to offer degrees, it usually takes time to put everything in place to make that happen...libraries have to meet certain requirements and several other stringent details must be adhered to. I think it took ECBC a few years to get all that together, back in the day.
I don't know if that's their plan or not. For now you can earn a certificate of study in several areas by completing the requisite courses.
Once I complete this course, I want to take the one on prayer.

Lee started as a Bible Training School (100 years ago) and did not move towards "collegian" status for some time. You could say the Church of God was built, at least the foundational and expansion years, by those who were trained in a school similar to Stone's. Perry Stone is lunching with considerable more assets than Tomlinson launched Bible Training School with. A school such as Stone's meets the need of many who will be active in ministry and the work of the Kingdom.

...which is desperately needed today as Bible Colleges continue to close, as all three in the COG did.
And by doing it online, people around the world can participate that will never go to Cleveland, TN.
The course I am taking has segments by Lindell Cooley, Judy Jacobs, and Bryan Cutshall, that I know of. I haven't actually started it yet (hoping to start it today.)
