MoonWalkingWithJesus |
What would a council of pastors look like in the Cog? What changes would it bring? _________________ Tis so Sweet to Moonwalk with JESUS. 😎🌔🌔👟👞👟👞 |

My first question would be, 'In light of Jesus giving the church five personalities/gifts of development of the whole Body (Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Shepherd, Teacher) why would there only be value in Pastor's conclusions or discussions?'
Furthermore, in current accepted polity and practice, why is our church led without respect to this seminal and foundational directive of the Apostle Paul in how the church is to be developed and led? _________________ Live an epiK life!

Phil,
What percentage of each group would be fair?
If it is proportionate, what is the proportionate amount of each category in the COG? _________________ Whether you like it or not, learn to love it, because its the best thing going today! |

I am not qualified to say, but a good start to discover that would be found by asking everyone to visit and evaluate the information they reveal at fivefoldsurvey.com.
Then, there are some great investigative study on this subject in some recent works like 5Q, Activating 5Q, The Permanent Revolution & The Forgotten Ways are good mentoring books. _________________ Live an epiK life!

Would be an improvement, but still most are beholden to the EC so nothing will change until we restructure. |

I think, in terms of this discussion, pastor is being used more as a job title than a spiritual gift. People who function in a pastoral position are great teachers, shepherds, evangelists, and prophets. Apostle might be the only one of those gifting that almost requires someone to be transient with the nature of their ministry. |
