Check Yes or No: Do you believe that God works miracles today? |
Quiet Wyatt |
Do you believe God still works miracles today?
Do you believe Jesus still heals today?
Do you believe in the power of the name of Jesus and in the power in the blood of Jesus?
Please just answer yes or no. Thanks. I tried to make a poll, but I wasn’t able to find that option.

In the following thread: http://www.actscelerate.com/viewtopic.php?t=88210&sid=5cb2c67097dec2fba85d4cdde4f9c54e
One questioned whether some in this forum still believed God did miracles today, whether some still believed in the power of the blood and name of Jesus, etc. So I wanted to see if indeed there were any unbelievers or cessationists among us here. 🤓 |

Mainly, Tom, to see if you still believed. |

From a child, I remember they did not shoot old Thomas because he wanted proof. But I think the Lord said,"It might be better not to NEED physical proof."

It's my fault, Tom. I questioned if folks here really believe in healing because if we talk about faith, then we must be Word of Faith believers and the healing we may receive may not be real.
It seems to me that acts of faith here are discouraged rather than encouraged, and we say we believe in healing but where is the evidence?
Just wishing we could have some positive discussions here. _________________ "More of Him...less of me."

Not at all, Carolyn. I love to hear of genuine verifiable healings. We are told in the good Book to discern such things. I have seen far too much claiming to be of God and genuine, but upon seeking validation found it to be false. So, when I hear of healings, miracles, etc., I ain't real quick to jump the gun. When such a thing is verified, hey, I rejoice with the best of em. But see, not ever thing what says "Lord Lord" is of the Lord. |
