Is all faith blind faith? |
Aaron Scott |
Consider a few things...
1) If it's "faith with evidence," isn't it really probability and not faith?
2) Can any of us even conceive of a scenario that would cause us to say, "Well, because of that argument/event/etc., I can no longer believe in God?
If these things are the case, then is it true that blind faith is really the only faith we have? |

It cannot happen to someone who is a real 'person of faith.' I do not know how to explain it, and I experienced it. It is not simple. Feelings and faith get mixed. Basically I was fasting and praying. I asked for something very simple. It did not happen. I asked again for something 'simple'. it did not happen. Your mind gets messed with from what you read, what you have been taught, what you believe, etc.
I simply(?) really simply became an agnostic, then atheist.
This is a warning, something I truly believe. I had a wonderful church, growing, breaking record after record. I loved the congregation they loved me. I could have stayed and preached to these people. I honestly believe today we have some atheists, at best agnostics (Charlatans) in the pulpit. I refused to stand in a pulpit and lie to some dedicated people. I also refused to 'put a dent in anyone's faith' so I resigned. I told the church I was definitely leaving. I still received 99% of the votes written in.
Yes, this is a warning to anyone reading. It can happen. God is good. After my many years of wandering, happy go lucky about death. He accepted me back into the fold. But believe me with Satan helping your human nature line up the 'stars', you just ease into it with a smile. _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!
