Sutiable Pastor |
MegaBoss |
I guess the original intent was to find and/or discuss a suitable Pastor for Metro COG in Alabama!
Many times COG pastors believe within their state there can ONLY BE another pastor from the same state to fill the role of pastor for an open church. This is especially true when there is an OPEN Church and it is a perceived promotion.
So,be easy on people when it is an open situation and unless you know the details, it may be good to keep comments to yourself! _________________ For His Glory |

You would have thought that the world was ending two years ago when the pastors from out of state came into Alabama. Now, Victor Massey is doing a great job at Sumiton, Brian Wade has brought great healing to a hurting church after their pastor died tragically. Travis Johnson has been the perfect for at Pathway and they have already planted a satellite campus. David Smith is blowing it out of the water at Oak Park. A great church that had plateaued is now one of the fastest growing churches in the Church of God. Could it possibly be that God was actually in all of those moves? What a great concept! |

Huh? |
Sorry...confused this thread with River Hills. I don't know either of the churches but there have been LOOOONG confusing discussions re: both. RH lead pastor announced his retirement last week on FB. |
Forgiveness on the confusion. Ray Baby was speaking at river hills Tampa. That is why the posts overlapped. Hope all said is enough. |
Has it occurred to you that no-one ever responds to your posts on this matter? With all respect, this is apparently a personal concern for you that others don't seem to be as concerned about. |

Brian Wade was our youth pastor at Dalton a long time ago, he and Lori are great people. Glad to know they are back in the sunny south and out of the northern cold winters. Congratulations guys, you deserve it. |
