After reading what one of the shoplifting ball player's dad (laVar Ball) said, I had to agree, He should have left them over there for a few weeks.
No one knows what actualy would have happened, but I am sure a word from the president did do some good.
It just hurts me to read someone saying "It was only shop lifting, nothing serious."
A friend in California just e-mailed me that shoplifting less than $1000 is a misdomeanor. WHAT? He said right after the legislation Shoplifting really did increase. So then purse snatching or robbery of less than $1000 can't be too bad either.

I realize that is not North Korea, but the guy who was walking dead when he was returned, only took a small flag down off a hotel wall. OUCH
Our ship left sailors in some ports in Greece and Turkey for less than shoplifting.

Wouldn't purse snatching be robbery if the woman is holding or wearing the purse at the time? I'd imagine that would be a felony.
