Joyce Meyer revealed on a televised broadcast that she had breast cancer and was going to believe God for her healing but her family urged her to obtain medical help and she did. Why?
Jan Crouch had bouts with cancer (and medical treatment). Yet close friends Oral Roberts or Benny Hinn couldn�t heal or help Jan. Why?
Tammy-Faye Bakker Messner died with cancer. Why?
T.L. Osborn�s wife Daisy died from cancer. Why?
Both Oral Roberts and Marilyn Hickey were admitted to the same hospital and were in different rooms on the same floor. Why couldn�t they heal each other?
Kenneth Hagin used to tell a story how EW Kenyon ate lunch, went into his living room, sat in his rocking chair, his daughter walked in and Kenyon exclaimed �there�s Jesus, good-bye� and entered into heaven. However, none of the WOF leaders acknowledge that Kenyon died of a cancerous tumor. Why? |
You are so much more than God ever realized you would or could be. You have outdone even His critique of humanity. What would God do without YOU to learn from? Not only do you amaze us with your innate ability to scrutinize, chastise and analyze, all of heaven must wait with baited breath for your next Actscelerate revelation and demonstration of profundity.
Why keep this extraordinary display on such a small stage?
Why not take this necessary corrective anointing to a larger and more appropriate audience where the very ones you have such insight about can see, know and repent because of your special calling of superior enlightenment and theological expertise?
Why do you keep it to us, the lowly, the battered, the losers who cannot see what you see, know what you know, act with the boldness and prophetic condemnation that you so eloquently practice to those it doesn't matter to?
How do you hold yourself to periods of sleep with the dire necessity you comprehend is vital to saying the same old thing, over and over, ad infinitum to the limited masses that lurk, post and are educated here?
When are you going to ascend to the HIGH CALLING you obviously are living and break into the mainstream of Christendom for the sake of the Kingdom of God who is incorrectly believing God for the impossible, the improbable and immovable realities of human life?
Rise Up, O Man of God! Rise Up! Go forth to a place it matters... 'Cause it don't matter here anymore!!! We know your shtick, your script and your sermon.
May your pride carry you, your insanity contain you and your incessant dribble entertain you to a larger audience. You've converted everyone here. We KNOW not to believe God. You have accomplished your mission.

While I am deeply honored and appreciative of your respect, and very kind comments regarding my critique of all things woffie, you are engaged in sacrilege. To think a mere human could "Outdoes God Himself" is nonsensical. |

OTCP's presentation may be off-putting. But IMO, a critique of his position should come from properly contextualized, properly exegeted scripture. Regardless of his presentation, he has identified flaws with Word of Faith theology, both by identifying the way in which key proof texts are wrested from their proper contexts and by identifying the almost total lack of observable practical efficacy of Word of Faith teaching.
IMO the ball is on the other side of the court on this issue. |

Let's not blaspheme or be irreverent toward God in our subject titles, even if it is done ironically. It's not worth it to do that to take a jab at another poster.
And it is clear that OTCP's target was WOF teaching, and he was not criticizing God for not healing these people.
I seem to recall reading or hearing something from Hagin, I think, in the little material from him I read or was exposed to, that he thought the ideal way to go was without getting sick and to die in your sleep like Smith Wigglesworth. He did not think we would have immortality in this life before Jesus came back, but he did not believe we should die from cancer. His heart gave out on him and he died in a hospital, at 86.
Wigglesworth wore glasses as he got older and passed some kidney stones during his life.
