5 to 6 gallons per mile or 5 to 6 miles per gallon? |
Oops! 5-6 miles per gallon. That does kinda make a difference, doesn't it? LOL
That's what we got back when we were traveling, but that was in the late 80s - early 90s. Could be better now. _________________ "More of Him...less of me."

NOTE: Our home is a 38.5 Monaco Diplomat with 2 slides. I get 8 mpg on a 315 Cummings towing a little Honda Fit.
I hope the situation works out well. Maybe a better 'contract' should be devised, but the RV parking spot is a GREAT incentive for good help. _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

I'm sorry I made it out like it was a friend's church.
This drama unfolded here at FCC but I couldn't say anything earlier, in fact I still can't talk about the worst parts of it & believe me it's really bad.
They came on board with loads of potential & new 5th wheel RV equipment & enthusiasm with young kids & I thought, 'wow, this couple will work great!'
Nothing could be farther from the truth.
This past Monday I was able to reach the wife & I informed them we no longer needed their services.
The husband fully understood & apologized for her behavior. I feel bad for him because he has been going to counseling for the last month in order to get help that his wife demanded of him.
He has a great job but the wife has been taking his money from the bank & not paying their bills w/out him knowing.
She has taken the kids with majority custody & left him for another life.
This brand new 42' RV is still on FCC property, they have basically abandoned it & now I find out the rig is in one of their parents names who went on the hook, financing it for them to have a place of their own.
This has been a huge mess & the church has been the one to suffer due to the fact we trusted the wife to do the cleaning & to make sure the facility was secure & all buildings alarmed. Now I find out very little cleaning was done & a few nights the alarms weren't even set on the buildings.
Really saddened me.
Really upset me.
I feel bad for the little kids & the parents who are really left out in the cold.
More to come in a few days.

Prayers here my friend. Amazing the techniques used by the powers of satan or just plain ill will, to thoroughly chastise for a good deed. Yes stress is on your shoulders, but stress and trouble on the kids and parents.
