Post Mystery - Spirit filled Christians don't agree on who God wants as President Pastor Nations
Personally, I am tired of the noise.

God appoints the authorities - He knows who He wants - and He knows who He is going to appoint.

"... There is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God." Romans 13:1b

I don't hear about Spirit filled Christians asking God the question: "God who do You want?"

Do they then wait for the answer? Do they hear from God? Do they support that person based on what they hear?

In Acts the early disciples settled a matter with the comment "it seemed good to the Holy Ghost and to us" Acts 15:28

Imho, but I just don't hear this particular dialogue from Spirit filled brothers and sisters.

I know I'm ranting, just tired of noise differing opinions (especially the ones I don't agree with, lol)

Much more importantly than asking me - have you asked the Lord who He wants?

Perhaps, my point is this:

Politics is dominating a lot of conversation between Christians, with a lot of opinions being expressed, but I do not hear anybody specifically saying that they have asked the Lord who He wants as President.

I am just saying I don't hear anybody saying they asked the Lord His preference.

Don't you know, brother? Everybody is sure they know what God wants, just like everybody really does love God way down deep inside.

Post Re: More Importantly Methocostal
I'm not sure the Lord wants either one, He is permitting us to have what we have wanted and earned. Christians have abdicated their responsibility to government to care for the widows, orphans and sick. The widows, orphans and sick have allowed themselves to vote for people that are in opposition to their basic moral principals. Both are wrong. We got what we (collectively) deserve.

Indeed, God said to care for the widows and orphans, He did NOT say to let government do it for us. Now, we have an anti Christian government (not simply neutral) and we wonder why our values have eroded?

Barring a move from God, America will fall, whether that fall is a complete bloody revolution with a new government model, or to purposely elect people whose moral values are anti-God that will ultimately outlaw Chrisitians and Jews and another Holocaust will ensue. Perhaps that is God's will to expedite His return. I don't know.

Spirit filled Christians don't agree on the next carpet color in the sanctuary.

How do you expect them to agree on this?
