Post Wise use of social media for pastors Da Sheik
If you have been a pastor or a minister for any length of time, you have doubtless seen how destructive a disgruntled church member can be. They often take to social media to recruit support and garner sympathy for whatever wounds they are nursing.

I have seen equally destructive behaviors from pastors on social media. It is not uncommon for me to see pastors lamenting the lack of attendance at any given service, lack of dedication, and failure of members to attend church workdays and activities. Or even worse, complaining about not having enough money because people aren't tithing.

All of that negativity puts off a rotten aroma in the atmosphere of potential visitors to your church. On the one hand, they see that your members aren't dedicated. On the other hand, they see that you (their potential pastor) will take to social media to criticize them. So it actually becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. The more negative seeds you sow, the more negative the harvest.
