I hear you, my sister. I was 34 (1996) when I got married...and finally had a TV. All I know is I liked Murdocks stuff before I had a TV. May I suggest that it is fair to believe him to be a good teacher with, apparently, some serious flaws in the area of money? I just choose to think of him in a somewhat better light. I could be wrong. Pray for me if you think so. God bless you all! Hon. Dr. in Acts-celeratology

Murdock just gives off a creepy vibe. Doesn't take the gift of discernment to know something is amiss with this guy. I am cautious of any teacher whose primary emphasis on the bible is in the area of finances. Doubtless the bible addresses the topic of finances but anyone who devotes themselves to that to the neglect of other biblical topics is shady IMHO. Acts Enthusiast

Your humble opinion is spot on, Sheik. Spot on, ma man!

What is even more creepy is COG preachers who foller this fellers ministry receiving one wisdom key after another, an never reconizin the error of it all.

His BOOKS do not seem to come across that way (at least to me). I wonder if, when he is called in to receive offerings (as apparently he is for networks, etc), his focus is just naturally on money. And since most folks see him from that angle, maybe it just seems like that case that he is always talking about money?

To ME, the things I remember are things like:

The waves of disobedience will wash up on the shores of your life for a season.

What you hate is a clue to the problem you were assigned to solve.

Your assignment is hidden in your daily routine.

Etc. (These are not likely to be verbatim.)
