My wife attends Sunday Night. I still cannot hear in our church, but my wife says the number is about 25% of morning Worship. _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

We do have a Sun. pm service, but since we don't run our bus to pick up kids in the evening on Sunday, the main difference is we have a lot less kids on Sunday nights. I'd say we have about 80% of our Sun. morning adults on Sun. nights, and about 15% of our kids back on Sun. nights. Our biggest attendance in any week, oddly enough, is on Wed. nights. |

We do not. We have a 9am and 1045am Sunday AM schedule.
Today our 9am service was 51% of our 1045am service attendance.
Last Wednesday was 48% of this mornings adjusted total attendance. _________________ Proverbs 3:5-6; John 13:34-35; Acts 1:8 |

We don't have one and the decision was led by my predecessor. But in talking with him, my understanding is that about 25-35% of the church was supporting it. So I'm glad I'm not in the unfavorable position of having to discontinue it. Thankfully, he had the intestinal fortitude to do it himself. Some churches have strong attendance on Sunday nights and for those select few, I encourage them to continue. But for those who limp along and just do it for the sake of maintaining traditions I hope they will prayerfully reconsider. |

We still have a Sunday night service. Ours is about 80 to 85% depending on the time of year.
it's funny, we just chatted about this in our ministers meeting on Saturday. I could see some okay with ending our Sunday night services but the majority would revolt. |

Funny i I have tried everything I can to do away with Sunday night service but like some of you - I have 75-80% of my AM crowd come back and others that weren't there on Sunday morning...
and its so much more relaxed and people sort of let their hair down and worship type service _________________ Pastor Mike

OTCP: I would like to know how it works out for you.
Jeremiah29:11: For us we have several return from Sunday AM but folks that typically don't go on Sunday morning will show up at night. To be honest our mid-week Sunday morning and Sunday evening are like 3 different crowds. |

We sometimes have MORE on Sunday night than Sunday morning - never less than about 75% -- we use ours for testimonies, young ministers, videos - keep mixing it up with the emphasis on congregational participation. Bountyland LOVES it's Sunday Evening service. _________________ ....from Barney Creek to Bountyland through every open door |

I have become so accustomed to not having Sunday night services it would be difficult for me to go back. Not because I don't enjoy going to church but because that has become such a wonderful time for family. For those that have thriving Sunday night services, I applaud you and celebrate what's going on. Like I mentioned earlier, my predecessor discontinued Sunday night services because it seemed like a poor use of resources and utilities. He also mentioned that the majority of attendees were people from other churches who desired a Sunday evening service that their church didn't offer. For me personally, that's not a mission goal. I would rather reach the unchurched as opposed to drawing from my peers. |
