Ole Timer, I never knew Vestal personally, but she sure seemed like a nice lady. I saw her on one of the videos (maybe a Gaither video) where some kids were going fishing. She seemed like the kind of person one would have a real nice and wholesome time with.
But honestly, I can't see a Gilmour fan chilling out with a Happy Goodman LP. Maybe you're a little more eclectic in your tastes than I thought. |

you aren't naive Bonnie. Anyone who was unfaithful for 5 years according to his words isn't going on vacation with a girlfriend AFTER the divorce to have Bible study and discuss integrity and virtue.
When my brother's father-in-law did the same thing before his divorce was final (which I doubt Israel's is yet), the court didn't look at it as anything less and his pocket book learned that not everyone is a fool. |

All I can say for sure going on vacation with a member of the opposite sex ain't smart under the circumstances. YOU B open for just what happened. A person of that station in life knows that, and the ramifications of same. It just ain't smart.

It's interesting that you are sure I'm not naïve, yet it doesn't occur to you that I might know the difference between something that happens 'for five years' and something that happens 'five years ago.'
It's my understanding that IH said he had a 'moral failure' five years ago and had, for the last five years, tried to work through that in his marriage.
In any case, I'm through posting on this thread.
