The article states that most of his ministry was in the COG or COGOP. Apparently gaining cult-like status, Jolley operated what the Christianity Today article called a diploma mill seminary (Logos Theological Seminary). And some on Acts give the impression that these things aint problematic.
Jolley was under investigation for sexual misconduct, his own step-daughter alleging that he molested her from a young age till age 20.
He used to be in Ringgold, GA. I wonder how close Ringgold is to the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit? Sounds like em boys interacted a bit, or Jolley mighta been on staff there at some point, cause they is a heap a similarities tween their styles a "ministry." |

Ringgold is close to Cleveland, not Atlanta. |

Interesting, I know the name and I know "a" Mike Pugh, who was COGOP, but I don't know if he is the same Mike that I knew.
Since I was raised in TN, I would have thought I would have known Mr. Jolley, but perhaps he came along after I left. I have been gone from TN for over 30 years, so a lot could have happened since then.
Perhaps the "Jolley" name is familiar as there was a UT Women's basketball player by that name from Sparta, TN, near my home town.
A shame, it sounds like he never repented. I hope he did.

Jolley was originally from Alabama. His "ministry" was based outta Ringgold, GA, fer several years, then he moved to Franklin, TN, in the early 2000's. The ole boy claimed a worldwide radio ministry what reached 4.5 billion (yep, billion) worldwide. He ran, as did his brother, a unaccredited degree mill seminary. |
