Therapists Confirm Trump's Narcissistic Personality Disorder |
c6thplayer1 |
The Acts diagnosis seems to hold water acording to the professionals.
Quote: | “Remarkably narcissistic,” said developmental psychologist Howard Gardner, a professor at Harvard Graduate School of Education. |
Quote: | “He’s so classic that I’m archiving video clips of him to use in workshops because there’s no better example of his characteristics,” said clinical psychologist George Simon, who conducts lectures and seminars on manipulative behavior. |
Quote: | “He’s very easy to diagnose,” said psychotherapist Charlotte Prozan. “In the first debate, he talked over people and was domineering. He’ll do anything to demean others, like tell Carly Fiorina he doesn’t like her looks. ‘You’re fired!’ would certainly come under lack of empathy. And he wants to deport immigrants, but [two of] his wives have been immigrants. |
Quote: | Licensed clinical social worker Wendy Terrie Behary, the author of Disarming the Narcissist: Surviving and Thriving with the Self-Absorbed, said, “Narcissists are not necessarily liars, but they are notoriously uncomfortable with the truth." |
Quote: | “Textbook narcissistic personality disorder,” echoed clinical psychologist Ben Michaelis. “This man is known for his golf courses, but, with due respect, who does he think works on these golf courses? Mr. Trump’s bullying nature—taunting Senator John McCain for being captured in Vietnam, or saying Jeb Bush has “low energy”—is in keeping with the narcissistic profile.
“He’s applying for the greatest job in the land, the greatest task of which is to serve, but there’s nothing about the man that is service-oriented. He’s only serving himself.”

I completely agree with the diagnosis, I have a narcissist in my extended family that is destroying his relationships as he gets older and he acts exactly the same as Trump (only he can save, deliver, fix things, is right, etc...)
However, one or two of those comments show their hand when they complain about immigrants. They are not even accurate themselves which shows either a lack of intelligence or their own narcissism (they hope to score a point politically while hiding behind their clinical expertise). The claim that Trump wants to deport immigrants, is false (and I don't even like Trump). He wants to deport ILLEGAL immigrants. |

Seems to fit the description of most politicians, I know it all and have the answer (which I will give you peons at a later date, if necessary).
The description also fits some of us here on Acts. (He said looking in a mirror!) LOL
It seems to have worked for the 'ego in chief' at present. _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

does the word "infowars" mean anything to you? To me it means "kooky nut jobs in the tank for Trump"
If you have anyone in your family causing destruction through their narcissism, you wouldn't need anyone elses' diagnosis to see it in Trump, its textbook. |

Info Wars often posts stories that are available on the news wires. It would be a mistake to discount the story just because you don't like the messenger. I read a story on Democrat Underground today concerning the open letter to Trump written by one of his former campaign staffers where she denounces him. Should I discount the letter simply because DU posted it?
IW was linking the story from this sight....

See there you go, it is according to how you define 'IS'! To quote a very (in)famous person.
That 'interpretation' thingee comes into play. And since my interpretation is ALWAYS rite, my opinion is also. Shucks ever one knows 'at!.
But all these 'body English' and nusance readers bothers me. I remember after every press conference years ago, the talkng heads had to come on and tell me 'what I had just heard'. _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

I tagged him with that.... |

From the beginning of the race I labeled him as one who would be "the biggest narcissist we've ever had in the White House", if he wins. But I am not alarmed and don't view that totally in a negative light.
He is running to save Trump Enterprises. That's it. He has money- is a big shot - and lives the lifestyle of the rich and famous. He sees the deliberate dismantling of the American economy and military as a plot by the Euro/American secret elite to bring down America to where it can be absorbed into a "world economy" that they can manipulate to increase their empires and power on the world scene. If America tanks - Trump does too since he's not in the elite club. So to stop the New World Order he must win the presidency and protect his billions- and to do that he has to save the American economy.
So- he will try to save America with a selfish motive. I get that - and I'm more concerned about America being saved for my kids and grandkids than I am his selfish motives.
Since that's his plan- to save his financial empire by saving America from the New World Order - I'm not upset about it if the alternative is Hillary (or another republican in their hip pocket) continuing to take us on down the road we've been on the last few decades.
He's a narcissist - a huge one. That increases his chances to make America great again. I don't like him - don't support him - but at least with him I know up front what we're dealing with. Perhaps the greatest narcissist ever to be in the White House. God used Balaam's ass once- perhaps He can use Trump. He's not a total heathen. When my sister lived in New York and attended Marble Collegiate Church - she saw him there in worship services numerous times- so he did attend church before getting into the race.

I basically agree with you. Fine with me as long as he gets the job done. _________________ "It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves UPCI |
