Post The Man With the Most Honorary Degrees - Rev. Hesburgh (150+) Pastor Nations
The man with the most Honorary Degrees is Theodore Hesburgh, former President of the University of Notre Dame

He reportedly had more than 150 honorary degrees, including Yale and Harvard.

Several of his honorary degrees were doctorates.

Quite a feat, an I'm shore Rev Hesburgh deserved ever single award/honor he received. But its at one earned doctorate what warrants the use of the title "Dr." If Dr. Hensburgh had not earned his docterate back in 1945, not 150, yea, not even 150,000 honorary docterates alone would warrant him using the title "Dr." Nor if he had 150,000 honorary docterates, but not one earned docterate, would the ole timer be able to call him "Dr. Hesburgh."
