Post TL Lowery Sold Vacuum Cleaners to Folk with No Electricity Old Time Country Preacher
During Monday's celebration of life for Rev. TL Lowery, Presiding Bishop Mark Williams was sharing and tellin bout how nobody could receive an offering like TL. He said his mother told him that during TL's early ministry that TL sold vacuum cleaners to support himself. He said his momma told him TL was so good at it that he even sold a few vacuum cleaners to folk who didn't have electricity (to operate the machine). When Williams told this story the whole church erupted in laughter, cause they knowed he had a knack for receiving a offerin. Acts-pert Poster

While I was watching the funeral live at National COG, Bishop Williams told this story and the audience certainly laughed. It was a humorous story. The ole timer is sorry, Carolyn, I didn’t remember ya post, but it looks like you told the story first.

It is a classic TL story. Good that they included it. I wonder if the National service is available online?
