With Rubio as VP and Carson as SG, Trump would likely be unable to prevail. [Insert Acts Pun Here]

Possible, but it seems impossible for any of these guys to talk civil to each other. I said that last year, that bunch should have agreed on a strategy, that they wuld not be shooting at each other and at some point when their numbers went down to throw their weight behind the leader at the time. BUT NO they had to get so nasty, trump looked better. Embarassed

Rubio is delusional if he thinks he's the only one who can beat Trump. [Insert Acts Pun Here]

Sadly, I think he is delusional. He has the Bush and establishment money coming his way so they have him convinced. I would be amazed if he did the right thing at this point.

Rubio is desperate. The same people that got Bush to attack Rubio have gotten in his head and has him attacking Trump in some of the most sophomoric ways. I'm disappointed in how he's handled himself.

But Cruz is the only one who can possibly defeat Trump. So I hope for the good of the country, Cruz and Rubio will work out a deal, and team up to take Trump down.

I agree with what Glenn Beck said today...if Trump wins the nomination, that's the end of the GOP. He's a progressive NY liberal. And he'll run to the left. He's already hinting at that, BTW. He told Hannity the other night that "everything is negotiable", in regards to illegal immigration.

Think about it. Is this really so shocking? "Art of the Deal". Trump cannot deport all 13 million, as has been stated on this board many times. So, he uses fear of deportation as leverage. What we wind up with is a sealed border, no anchor babies, work permits for many with no chance of citizenship ever.

Congress can, per the 14th Amendment, change the anchor baby status with a simple vote. Trump has stated that if Congress will not cooperate, he will seek a Constitutional Amendment. This means convincing enough States to invoke Article 5, which they will do.

History is not on the side of a Convention actually ever happening. Even Trump can't influence that.
