The GOP is between a rock and a hard-place that's for sure. Their only hope would be to convince Rubio or Cruz to withdraw along with Kasich and Carson. If they are not that smart, they deserve what's coming to them. I think you and I can agree on that much at least.

If they can't work a deal with the other candidates, then they should spend their time working with Trump to TRY to bring the rest of the party together. It would require some blood-oath to get some of us on board, but they should at least try. I can't think of a single thing that would change my mind, but I'm willing to listen.

If Trump made a public statement that he would nominate Cruz to the U.S. Supreme Court. If he stated that he would have a conservative running mate...things might look a little better. These things would not make the "establishment" guys get on board, but I think it would probably solidify the conservative base.

I would consider (and pray) about that one. Rubio or Carson as VP ? I've already heard rumors of Carson (probably why he's trying to hold off as many Cruz votes as he can)

I know what you mean, but Cruz on the court for 30 + years couldn't hurt too bad
