Having second thoughts about Rubio |
Dave Dorsey |
Having second thoughts about Rubio. He may have sounded ridiculous repeating himself, but it was an important point. Look, let's dispel with this fiction that Barack Obama doesn't know what he's doing. He knows exactly what he's doing... |

He also said something to the effect of "Hillary Clinton is the one with an extreme position on abortion, she's willing to abort a child up until birth, that is the definition of extreme". Which sounds just as good, only it was Carly Fiorina who said that nearly verbatim. I don't think the man has an original thought. Sorry. He may be a handsome face for the party, but he's an empty suit |

I think at this point there are still enough candidates in the race that they can afford to throw a lot of mud at each other. I just hope it doesn't hurt the eventual nominee down the line. The most important thing is that we don't let someone win who will continue the legacy of Barack Obama. We need to dispel with this fiction that Barack Obama doesn't know what he's doing. He knows exactly what he's doing... |

You know what else we need to do? We need to dispel with this fiction that Barack Obama doesn't know what he's doing. He knows exactly what he's doing... |

They may be a few things Obama has fouled up simply cause a lack of experience, but in the main, yep, Obama knows what he is doing as far as imposing his agenda on culture. |

Exactly. Too bad he could not have slapped Cristy, Kasich and Bush down with a comment like...
Quote: | Yes, Governor. I HAVE to repeat that line over and over because neither you or the other two governors on this stage WILL. Your silence on this topic indicates either you don't have the insight needed to understand Obama, or you are beholden to him. YOU, Governor were the one strolling down the beach with him. You Governor Bush are helping him implement Common Core. You Governor Kasich wimp right out when the SCOTUS rules on Obamacare and gay marriage saying, "the court has spoken. It's time to move on." So yes. I will continue to to repeat the line you 3 are either too ignorant or afraid to say. |

We all agree his statement was true. His handlers craft all his statements well. And he memorizes them verbatim very well. He just looked like a clod - unable to think on his feet. And it cost him. And he admits it cost him. _________________ Whether you like it or not, learn to love it, because its the best thing going today! |

It's a moot point. It may have cost him a delegate or two in a small state. Let's see where we are on March 2. |

Where we'll be is hurting under the presidency of Barack Obama. And let's dispel with this myth... |

Rubio an Empty Suit? |

Whoever says that hasn't listened to him in the debates! That guy knows foreign policy like no one else on the stage. He isn't shabby on domestic issues either. Even the democrats say he is the last one of the republicans Hillary wants to debate. He knows too much about the subject matter and is very good "in the moment."
Sure he repeated himself in that debate, but put yourself in his shoes for a minute. Let's say you have been preaching about the woman at the well every day for three months and you have given that sermon three times a day for those three months. In a pastoral forum you are asked about the woman at the well and you are exhausted and worn out. Guess what - you'd repeat parts of the sermon three or four times. You know it well and it has worked with all the other congregations. Another preacher says "you just said the same thing 4 times about the woman at the well." Yep. Guess I did. Was it true what I said? Yep. Then shut up. (The last part has to be unspoken, of course).
Governor Christy was a guy I supported 4 years ago if he had run. When he mercilessly attacked Rubio I had had enough. I heard Christy interviewed the following day about how he had attached Rubio. He said "Marco is a nice guy, but as a governor I have been tried and tested. He hasn't. I have been tried and tested. A senator hasn't been. But as a governor, I have been tried and tested as an executive." You be the judge as to how many times a guy repeats himself before it starts looking canned. |
