Post Packing more than a KJV volsfan
I had one of the guys from my church message me wanting to know if since he now has his CCW, would he be able to carry in church. Have any of you dealt with this issue? And if so how did you handle it?

If the pastor carries, seems only fair that a member be able to defend himself! Smile

However I'd be very careful if the guy didn't vote for you! Shocked

Just a joke folks! I feel comfortable when 'good folk' have a little fire power! Cool (Not a pastor by the way!) Embarassed

Check local laws. I haven't looked recently in Tennessee. However, it used to be that if the church "sanctioned" a security team, the church had to get a $100,000.00 bond in case someone mistakenly shot someone. I was told by a lawyer that if a Pastor gave permission for a member to carry, that could be considered sanctioning.
The way I handled it when questioned after the South Carolina shooting was to tell my church that nobody was sanctioned to. However, if they did carry to make sure they had good aim.
