As I write this note to you, off in the distance I can hear a dog barking. Seldom can one walk around the block without several dogs barking. Yet, there is a place in Scripture that says God put such a hush on a situation, until even the dogs would not bark.
There are several instances in Scripture where animals obeyed God; Balam's donkey, when the animals entered the Ark, and when Israel was preparing to leave Egypt.
Exodus 11:7 says "...a dog would not move his tongue" (KJV). In the NIV, it says that a "...a dog would not bark." If they did bark, it could have sabotaged Israel's leaving Egypt. Amazing isn't it how when God does something, He has a plan for everything.
I was doing my devotions and reading in Exodus. Thought maybe this note could spark someone's thinking as they look for a sermon.
