The gifts of the Spirit are greater than the fruit of the Spirit. |

That your own physical death will sanctify you entirely.
That you can't help but sin no matter what in this life.
That you can be saved and not sanctified.
That no matter what, you have to sin every day. |

Tithe up for one kind of blessing, and tithe down for another. I think tithing up was for financial blessings and down for spiritual or maybe vice versa. Not sure what the blessing was. A pastor who gives to his congregation would be 'tithing down' in this scenario. 'Up' is someone else higher up on the hierarchy. _________________ Link |

It is ALWAYS God's will to heal you in this life, and if you're sick, it's your own fault, since God's word promises 'divine health.' |

Repeat this prayer to ask Jesus in your heart or to accept Jesus. If you do, you're saved. |

Probably the wackiest one I ever heard was:
"You can be saved and living just like the Devil himself!!!"
I heard it at a county-wide interdenominational meeting, from the pulpit. The preacher was the pastor of one of the local Southern Baptist churches. He was expounding on the doctrine of unconditional eternal security. At least he was logically consistent.

The funniest thing I heard as a kid was:
"Adam and Eve was just like me 'n you, 'cept they didn't have a navel."
Logically it could be true, it just struck me 'n the boys as being funny, since we had never heard that taught in Sunday School.! _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

Preaching against cussing while using the phrase "my God" or "bless God" when it is not appropriate as in...."bless God, I nailed that shot!" |

"What He's done for others, He'll do for you."
In salvation, yes.
In individual circumstances, no. Their all different and his will dictates the response. |

Just wait until it's "beg-a-thon" time on your favorite Christian TV station. You're sure to hear some whacky thing you've never heard before in hopes of garnering an offering or a pledge. |
