Reflecting on Bowie's life (not to mention, his death) today has been pretty dismal. A life designed to reflect the glory of the Creator who made him, all a total waste. While he was certainly talented and obviously popular, everything he did was for his own hedonistic glory. [Insert Acts Pun Here]

I like a few of his songs I guess (Major Tom is one), but I've always thought he was a weirdo. His Little-Drummer-Boy duet with Bing was probably the closest thing he ever did to any sort of "gospel" song.

He's one of those "artists" that I point at when everyone thinks Lady Gaga is so original, yeah except Bowie was doing weird stuff like that 30 years before she was born.

Well QW , I have to say that God makes everyone for a purpose that is good. So somewhere in his lifetime God was glorified and good became out of his life.
I just dont see where but thats irrelevant.

Hey - he put a song named "Lazarus" on his final album.

of course, judging by the lyrics - he didn't appear to get it. Looks like he was copying Ronnie Van Zants thoughts.

But you never know. Ziggy played guitar!

Lazarus
Look up here, I'm in Heaven!

I've got scars that can't be seen

I've got drama, can't be stolen,

Everybody knows me now

Look up here, man, I'm in danger!

I've got nothing left to lose

I'm so high, it makes my brain whirl

Dropped my cellphone down below

Ain't that just like me?!

By the time I got to New York

I was living like a king

Then I used up all my money

I was looking for your ass

This way or no way

You know I'll be free

Just like that bluebird

Now, ain't that just like me?

Oh, I'll be free

Just like that bluebird

Oh, I'll be free

Ain't that just like me?
