I agree we must pray, we must tear down spiritual strongholds.

I also agree with Paul who establishes government agencies bearing a sword to protect others.

The sword could be bombs, missiles, troops, etc.

So, we should pray for the victims in France and Lebanon who suffered from the violence.

We should pray for the terrorists and hope and believe God will speak to the hearts, prepare them to embrace Jesus as Savior and Lord.

We should pray for our leaders praying God will give them wisdom; and if the choice is military, then pray for all troops.

I think he is a fake anabaptist but a pacifist nonetheless. He reads scripture, interprets it for you, then gives you the "bad ideas" after he closes the Bible. I agree that we should not look to kill "innocent" people. These are NOT innocent people we are talking about. And I 1000% disagree with him that we should not defend our country. It is this thinking that lead to the destruction of the true Anabaptists themselves, and will lead to the final destruction of all Christians in those countries if it hasn't already. I love his prayer when applied to his own comments, "Father, forgive me, I don't know what I'm saying."

I guess we shoulda just prayed fer the Nazis.

DISAGREE WITH THIS APPROACH.
I am a firm believer in defending our country as strong as the OT guys defended Israel.
I want to protect my family anyway I can! Some of us older guys wish we were younger so we could do more than run our mouths and fingers.

I do pray for GOOD leadership! Cool

You would picking and choosing which scriptures to use in the OT. What happens if we follow Jesus and His words of loving your enemies and doing good to those who persecute you? How do you justify killing people and continue to be a Christ follower? I'm not saying that I am there, just asking. Acts-pert Poster
