Post Who do you miss? Cojak
I have had too much time on my hands with this implant (It is going well by the way, I do not feel as dizzy, it is clearing up. But that is only when I stand)

( I believe in the resurrection but I mean in the original persona)
I miss:

Yo Dude
Lord Chancellor
Lifer (Haven't seen him lately)
Curly
Doyle (where is he?)

I forgot the other 10-15 I noticed as I went thru the membership list, yeah I have time on my hands. LOL

I have noticed any forum needs someone who chooses a road less traveled by, marches to a different drummer or flies his own plane, Instead of Yes men like me.
Embarassed

Why would you ask a question like that when outing user names is against the rules? You can't know if someone is still posting unless you know who was using that pen name.

There were plenty of others, but over time, I have forgotten them.

It's a crying shame that we give the "death penalty" to pen names because of what is really "misdemeanor" infractions. Yes, suspend them for 6 months or longer...but forever?

Those of you who were here will remember when Actscelerate might have 20 or 30 new THREADS started in a day.

I can tell you that when a person speaks their mind behind a pen name, they do it to protect themselves and others from any consequences such as being thought poorly of, etc. Without a pen name, it can very difficult to say all that you want to say, ask, etc. After all, it can then reveal who you really are.

In fact, there has been at least one time on this board that a member of this board tried to track down someone's identity (using their IP Address) in the name of "sound doctrine." If that can happen behind a pen name, think how much more we aren't going to say if we don't have a pen name.

I would like to suggest that we have a general AMNESTY, allowing all pen names to return, if they'd like. Many might have moved on completely--or at least to other pen names. In any case, open the doors...and from now on, SUSPEND instead of BAN.
